Use observations as questions, not conclusions
A viewing can identify matters to investigate, but many defects, title issues and service risks are hidden or need specialist testing. Ask permission before operating anything, do not enter unsafe areas and do not rely on photographs or listing measurements alone.
What happens after an offer
Choose an appropriate independent survey, instruct a conveyancer and confirm mortgage, insurance and safety requirements for the actual property. Use the property questions generator to route follow-ups to the agent or seller, conveyancer and surveyor. Lease documents, searches, enquiries, approvals and professional reports should support material decisions.
